FAQ

What is a wet room?

A wet room is a type of accessible bathroom specifically designed for people with low mobility or disabilities. It consists of a walk-in shower and accessible toilet. Water flows directly onto the floor where it is then drained through a hole.

Is a wet room better than a shower?

Whether a shower tray or a walk-in shower are the better option depends on each person. Wet rooms are created with ease of access in mind and consist of a drain in the floor. They are closed off to avoid water leakage and offer maximum mobility.

Do wet room panels get mouldy?

Wet rooms are completely enclosed to prevent leakage. It is important that the floor and wall are completely sealed to prevent unwanted moisture along the walls. Multipanel wet room panelling is waterproof and easy to maintain as mould cannot grow on its laminate.

How do I clean Multipanel?

We recommend cleaning our wet room panels with a micro-fibre cloth, warm water and a non-abrasive mild detergent. Scouring powders or similar products should not be used.

Wiping after use should be sufficient to prevent staining in most cases.

Lime scale residues may be removed using a soft cloth and a 10% solution of citric or acetic acid, household white vinegar and / or lime juice.

Commercial lime-scale removers are not recommended.
